DirecTV prices

After a year of being a faithful customer, and paying my bills on time, I received the Nov. 2009 bill--to find that it had increased almost $20. (From $58.10 to $76.10) I called to question the increase--the reply..."Your "First-Time Customer" discount has expired. I asked if they could give me a better deal. After being on hold for almost an hour--best deal--A $5.00 credit to my acct. for the next 3 (three) months!

I feel as though I am penalized for being a good customer, and I fully expected a better discount.
