I am now in US.
I need to call back to India, but the purchased card is inactive The customer service in USA says they can't do anything and I need to go back to the shopkeeper from whom I purchased it to activate the card?(Is this the solution? and is it practically possible?) The card is meant to be used, outside India, then how can a customer know wheter it is active or not when he purchases in India? When I dial the toll free number and then the card number it says me that the card is not activated.Whereas their website www.airtel.in says that the card does not require any activation.
