We purchased 2 Italian leather reclining sofas and the matching rocker/recliner in July, 2008. Within 5 months the rocker was making awful noises everytime I moved in it or attempted to get up out of it. Three visits by the repairmen were completed before a new chair was awarded to me and I had to fight for that. That was a perfect ending. However, 7 months after the purchase of this set one of the sofa's seats started to sink when anyone sat in it, so much so that it was difficult to get out of it if you were height challenged as I am. Cardi's came out again and said it needed repair and it was removed from my home for about 3 weeks. When they brought it back the delivery men damaged it by making little tear holes along the top/back..again the repairman had to come back. he put some type of product on it and dried it with a hairdryer..really nice--when you have paid $3000.00 for this beautiful set, right? Ok, yet again, 3 months later and almost to the end of the one year warranty period, the same thing is happening to the other sofa! The repairman came out yesterday and now the other sofa will be leaving my home for "repair"..the repairman stated to my husband that this will keep on happening because all they do to repair it is to put in more foam stuffing..and then he said that once the warranty period is up the problems will be ALL ours!!! This set is LESS THAN A YEAR OLD AND I HAVE HAD PROBLEMS WITH EVERY SINGLE PIECE! I wish I had my $3000 back. I have sworn that I will not buy from Cardi's in the future. The set is cheaply made and highly overpriced.
