NEVER ACCEPT SHIPPING THRU ODFL

My friend bought a scooter from EVO Sales and it arrived damaged. When she called EVO she was told she'd have to collect the insurance herself. She called ODFL several times to ensure the correct procedure was followed but was denied. Apparently she was supposed to call an inspector to gauge the damage independently. Fair enough. But why did ODFL wait until the claim deadline had passed to tell her? Why was she told to email pictures of the damage, but never that the pictures were insufficient to have the claim approved? When she complained to the company she was told that she could sue them for the money! Are you kidding me? What kind of customer service is that? And doesn't the law require that legal contracts are honored? Don't ever buy something being shipped by ODFL, unless you don't care about the insurance (which is valued at more than $100 in this case) be prepared to be run around in circles, denied and then told to p--s off! HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!!
