21st Century arbitrarily jacked up my insurance by 10 percent. I have three vehicles on my insurance. I got rid of one vehicle, an old Geo Storm, and added a Kia Sportage in its place. The new car is much safer than the old one. I've got a better view of the road and am not driving blind behind other vehicles.


This is just flat out thievery --using any excuse to jack up the rates. The state of California should repeal the mandatory insurance law if insurance companies abuse customers like this.


I finally got a quote over the phone for $331, which I considered too much, but I was willing to pay.


Two days later, I got a bill for $331 plus a $22 "adjustment" charge, which was an addition to the previous billing period. I had been told over the phone that I had 30 days to add my car to the policy. I got the car on April 25th and my policy term ended on June 5th. If I knew they would try to charge me $22, I would have just parked the car for the 11 days that weren't covered and driven one of my other cars.


These people are stinking crooks and they really treat people like dirt. I've been with 21st century for decades with no claims and this is how they treat me.
