Sears water heater / bad customer service

Item not in stock locally. I searched locally for one week and could not find the 40 gal. short model. Could not order online even to pick up at store. Was given the 800# to order water heaters. Took three times being on hold 15+ minutes each to finally reach a live person to place order. Could not be delivered to local Sears appliance store; had to be a full service store. Delivery not until Aug. 08. Could not receive a reasonable explanation for any of these issues; "that is Sears policy". I reluctantly place the order. Meanwhile I find a comparable one locally and purchase it. Cancel the order with Sears and I'm told that it will be about one week before my debit account is refunded the money! Needless to say... I will not deal with Sears in the future!!!
