Pantech C810

I purchased TWO Pantech C810's in the past couple of months. One was returned and replaced because the screen went black within a week. Now BOTH cellphones have the same problem. The charger mechanism inside of the phone comes out when removing charger. AT&T says this is due to abuse and will charge me $250 to replace a phone under warrenty. If this happened to one phone I may accept this explaination however BOTH phones have this problem so this is a defect from the manufacter.
