Do not buy RCA/Thomson products

I purchased an RCA television from walmart in nov. 08 for $600. I also paid $60 for the extended warranty. Shortly after I purchased my TV it started having problems. Most of the time when I turned it on only the sound would come on...no picture. In Feburary of 09 my TV went to an RCA approved repair center. It was there for quite some time so I decided to call them. The repair center told me it was unrepairable and that RCA was supposed to contact me to let me know. I called RCA and they in fact said it was unrepairable and they would replace mine. RCA keeps telling me they have no TVS in stock and I will not receieve a replacement until they do get one in stock and they do not know when that will be. It is now July and I still have no TV. I have already contacted the better businnes buearu and consumer affairs. I have asked RCA over and over for a refund and they say its not possible. I will never purchase another RCA product ever again!
