Trustmark Insurance

Trusmark Insurance Company 100 North Pkwy, Suite 200 Worcester, MA 01605 US Trustmark Short Term Disability Firstly, you have to go without pay for 30 days in order to receive your benefits. Fairly typical I suppose. What they don't tell you is that it takes them another 30-45 days on top to "review" your claim. All in total you are without pay for 2-2.5 months. Secondly, I have not received a check twice within one month. After speaking to the claims representative, she stated that it would take 3 weeks to put a stop on the checks, which means I would not receive the checks for at least a month. I am canceling my coverage after my medical situation is cleared up. I DO NOT recommend Trustmark Insurance. If you choose to purchase "coverage" from them...FAIR WARNING...have at least 4-6 months of pay in the bank. You'll need it. Oh, and not to mention the claims rep assigned to your case doesn't return your calls for 3-4-5 days. Overall, it's a tough economy we live in. They have made my financial situation an absolute mess. I am in the hole thanks to Trustmark not sending me a check when they are supposed to, and taking 2 1/2 months to begin to start paying me the coverage that I purchased. And, my claims rep has yet to return my calls. After looking at the dates of the checks, and referring to a calendar it is clear that they extend the issuing of the check by a day or two over time. This equates to losing a week within a two month period. Do the math.
