Cable xtortion

Time Warner Cable Vision Cable Vision US Back in December of 2003, i tried a 2 month free trail of cable vision. when the two month's were up they called me telling me i owed them. One hundred and fourty five dollars for cable. i told them it was a free trail, they remitted. How-ever they said i had to return the box. No problem i told them they can pick it up any time. They cut the service, i returned the box. It them another two month's to pick the box up. i'm a disabled veteran. Here it is five years later, i got optimum online service from them. They called me and said i owe them over six hundred dollars for the box and un-paid cable bill. DOH... Needless to say, they soon cut out they're clowning, when they confirmed the box was indeed returned. HOWEVER- they kept sending me paperwork on the fact that i owed for the free service i received, for the trail period. They sent me paper work which included the time that the service was been cut off. Not realising to this day that that was how long it took them to send someone to pick up the Cable Box. So now they want me to pay for free service they offered five years later. It's a shame that a company such as cable needs to stoop to such levels, as to harass anyone exspeacially this nation's Disabiled Veterans. :( From: Message Author (click here to email author)Date: Sunday, 12-Jul-09 05:17:38 CDT Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This |
