ROOMS TO GO = OH NO!

Chaise Lounge Rooms to go customer service US I have been a loyal Rooms to Go customer for about 10 years (maybe more..) and I will never buy another piece of furniture from them again. I bought a Sofa and Chaise Lounge for my family room back in 2006. I also purchased the fabric protection that they sold me as it was a goldish color. The Chaise was a favorite so it was heavily used. Within a year there were spots and stains on it. The fabric was also worn looking compared to the matching fabric on the sofa in the same room. I called RTG and told them the fabric protection was not working before my warranty expired. They scheduled an appointment and sent a service rep out to look at it. RTG told me that I needed to have it professionally cleaned and then they would come back out and look at it. I had it cleaned and the stains did not come out, also the fabric was still worn. The second service tech came out and agreed the stains were still there and the fabric was worn. He told me that they would order new fabric and when it came in they would reupholster the entire chase (in the same crappy fabric). Approx 2 months later RTG called to schedule another appt to pick up the chaise. They picked it up and called me a month later to say it was repaired and they were ready to deliver it back to me. Guess what?? They showed up with someone elses chaise - it didn't even look like mine! They delivery guys took it back and said RTG would call us to reschedule. RTG called me a few days later and told me that they order the wrong fabric and would have to reorder it. In the meantime they would bring back my dirty, worn chaise until they were ready to do the work. I said that was unacceptable. They said "sorry". After several requests to speak to a supervisor, someone called me back and told me that they had cleaned the chaise and they were ready to redeliver. Apparently, they had changed their minds and decided that it didn't need to be reupholstered even though the fabric was worn. Apparently, worn fabric is not a manufacturers defect!! Can you believe it??? I have spent so much time on this situation - between missing work to meet with RTG whenever they needed to come to my home and sooo much time on the phone with them. The quality of their furniture is BAD and their service is terrible. NEVER AGAIN!!
