H and R Block Smooth Criminals

First of all, this company is good at what they do. The problem is what they do is borderline criminal. There business practices are designed to be deceptive and mis-leading to ensure maximum profit-- bottom line. I recently had an experience with them that can only be described by relating it to something we can clearly recognize as criminal-- robbery or rape. I sought there tax preparation services particularly for the rapid refund(RAL). I made this very clear during my consultation. The representative assured me I would recieve the loan. Not until after I was denied did H and R Block adamately claim that they could not garauntee a rapid refund and that it would still cost 273 dollars(a price you can accept considering the rapid return service). I came to realize this was for good reason-- without this service they are totally useless and do nothing special that you couldn't do on your own. They lure you into accepting this gamble by first setting false expectations and then using tackics similar to sleep torture to tire you from waiting and then presenting you with a boat load of documents to sign they are certain you don't have time to read. They push for the signature, appear to actually have your best interest at heart, and then assure you it wont be more than two days. In reality it most likely won't, and they don't. They can't. Who would agree to such a lynching freely? Most people don't need there service and would be better off if they just filed there taxes on there own-- provided you are not lazy. They offer very few qualified representatives to handle tax cases thet warrant closer attention and have no interest in allowing you to realize this once you walk into there offices. When a person is robbed at gun point your robber tells you to give him all your money and you wont be hurt. The wise thing to do ,For your sake, is to ablidge with the expectation that he will honor his word. In most cases he does. But, in reality you still fear for your life in this situation because after all your robber is pointing a gun to your head-- the proper expectation has been set. This sort of crime to say the least is not very graceful and clearly against the law. However, when you deal with slime buckets like H and R Block they never point the gun to your head, at least not literally. They instead lead you to believe that you will lose out if you don't trust them and then they betray your trust and blame you for ignoring the perverbial gun pointed at your head. "Hey, we can't garauntee you will get a rapid refund, the bank makes that decision". That would have been good information had it been so adamantly stated prior to you taking my three hundred dollars for something a child could do with his web browser on his nintendo wii. I noticed they never had a portion of the consultation devoted to informing you that nothing special would happen for most people who are denied the rapid refund and that it would still cost you the same price less the finance charges(the bank still charges you the processing fee for abosolutely doing nothing). What smooth criminals.
