Dealing with Litton Loan is similar to entering the Twilight Zone

I literally handed employees in Houston my financial documents to do a loan modification in June 2008. They claimed they lost the paper work so eventually I went on BBB (Better Business Bureau)website and was able to get the e-mail address of the VP of Litton and contact her. She forwarded my information to someone who works in the executive resolution department. I had to FAX paperwork to him for them to receive it. Bottom line is it is horrendous trying to reach anyone on the phone. When they do return your call 90% of the time its an automated voice. In October 2008 I called and was told I was denied the modification. I never received a letter stating I had been denied. Today they told me it is computer generated, its past the deadline so they can't send me a copy. They are ridiculous, the worse lender in existence. They are incompetent. At this point I'll mail off a formal complaint to the U.S. Attorney's Office and Texas Attorney General's office to conduct a formal investigation based on deceptive practices Litton has exhibited towards its consumers. The house is in foreclosure and all they can recommend is that I apply again. Are you crazy? You never gave a reason why I was denied in the first place and you won't even send me a letter of denial. They are complete idiots!!!!

Well it is over a year since you posted and I can tell you it is still the Twilight Zone. Litton is now in the racket of acting in bad faith, proposing modifications for homeowners they have absolutely no intent of helping. They are just helping themselves to the government coffers and then foreclosing anyways. After the TRIAL MODIFICATION gets rejected, of course, for whatever spurious reason they can drum up, or as is usually the case, NO REASON,since the person IS eligible for the help they are aksing for.
