SEARS so called Customer Service

Whirpool washer US Called out a problem at the beginning of January 2009. Water would not drain the washer. I waited a week for a technician to come. He identified the problems and ordered parts. He said the parts would be at the house in 3 days and then I could call for an appointment. Somehow, I was able to made an appointment, not aware that their policy is no appointment until all of the parts were delivered. Not only did they NOT call to say that the part was on backorder, but they did not notify me that the 2nd appointment was cancelled. Someone waited home all day for a technician. So here is another 2 weeks wait for the part and then, most likely, another week for an available appointment. I called to make arrangements to rent a washer and talked with a woman who was going to check into the part delay for me and call me back. She never called, but the part did arrive the next day. Now another week went by before I can get a technician out. When the technician arrives, one of the pieces is wrong and told me he would overnight the correct part. Liar. Liar. I called this morning because the part did not arrive and was told the part was sent 3 day and will be delivered tomorrow. I told the service rep in no uncertain terms, that I wanted a Saturday appointment and I did not care how many people had to be bumped. The routing department said they will 'squeeze' me in on Monday. Renting a washer is out of the question as Sears will ONLY pay for the time it is in use and the rental place wants a minimun of 4 weeks. I almost had to shell out the whole months rental because the part arrived the next day and I figured I could wait a few more days. Little did I know that few days has not stretched into another week and more. If I could find someone to put in the needed parts, I would pay them. I also looked into getting new appliances and if I wanted to put out the money, I could get then installed before the tech shows up. There is no customer service that Sears could offer me anymore to entice me to get another maintenance agreement with them.
