Bensons beds - 9 month delivery wait so far...

Superking mattress and headboard Bensons Beds Fosse Retail Park Leicester, GB I ordered a mattress and headboard last May. They were not delivered on two dates agreed and I was told there was a finance problem...which my bank knew nothing about and Bensons later admitted was a mistake and not the case. When I went to arrange a third delivery date, the stock had gone missing and had to be reordered. Bensons forgot to do this and several weeks went by and slipped into months. I went to the store two weeks ago and was told my items were no longer on the system as they had been delivered. Bensons then agreed this was not the case but stated that someone had marked them as delivered incorrectly. They agreed to reorder and promised that the delivery people would call me two weeks ago, but again they failed to do so. I have now been paying for these through finance arrangements for several months, but was told today when I tried to cancel my order and get a refund that the person who needs to cancel my order is on leave. I have been told today that the items will be ready for delivery in around 10 days. I hope this is the case, but feel I have been here before. The store staff have been really very apologetic and helpful in trying to sort this out, but the warehouse operations have truly let them down. I am hoping the items arrive before the anniversay of their order date.
