Service of ICICI bank

A cheque amounting to Rs.2000/= was in favor of Mr.Brij Mohan (HDFC account) in the month of feburaray,2008. But was by mistake dropped in the cheque drop box of ICICI.The payment has already been made to Mr.Brij Mohan by other cheque. In the mean while the cheque got cleared from my bank account also. The said amount is lying with ICICI bank suspense account after the enquiry made from the local branch.Kindly suggest the way to get the credit of Rs.2000/= in my account from where the cheque was debited. As according to the bank officials the amount will be paid only to Mr.Brij Mohan whereas there is no such due pending and the same person is not in contact also.
