defective merchandise

Approximately 3 yrs ago I bought a washer and Dryer for $2800. Just Resently a weld broke in my dryer drum and this created my dryer drum to crack. For the price that I paid I feel the dryer should have lasted more then 3 yrs. When I contacted the company they said they will do nothing that they only guarentee the Dryer for a year. I feel this is ripping the consumer off because of the price they are paying for this product. I did some research on the Inter net and there has been several consumers that have had this problem with the LG Dryer Drum. I would like everyone to beware that the LG Dryer is not a wise investment.
