Slow or "no" refunds?

I've canceled my service with Direct TV almost three months ago. I returned all of my equipment, even a HD receiver that I'd paid for previously. I've changed services to Verizon FIOS. I've had a credit of $85.59 that has been due me and each month they deduct unnecesary charges, bringing down the amount owed lower and lower. They say it takes 8 weeks to receive a refund, however they find ways to hold your money with rediculous excuses and they chip away with hidden charges. It's been almost 3 months, or more, since canceling. Still no refund. When I call they say it can take an additional 8 weeks? Be careful if you have a refund because they'll use it up with lame excuses.
