Poor artists' stretcher bars

The stretcher bars sold by this company are of consistently inferior quality, far below industry standards, hence the "great" price.

This product may be good for strictly non-serious artists who do not expect their work to last, but for those who sell their work, you do NOT want to use these stretcher bars. The top edge of the stretcher is too sharply angled, not beveled, and therefore can rip the canvas or linen stretched upon it.

This is only a critique of the company's stretcher bars. I am not familiar with their other products. Their customer service does respond to inquiries, but I've been told they will not be improving the quality of their stretcher bars.

We have the best quality commercial grade s.bars for the price range.

If you want museum quality bars you will be asked to pay about 5-10 times as much by other companies. (and that's something that 99.9% of consumers will not do).

Our bars have worked for thousands of customers and in fact we use them to stretch thousands of canvases a month.

We'll be happy to provide references from our satisfied customers.
