We hired Save Your Home inc. AKA Mindy Kennedy Alvarez Attorney at law to assist us in modifying our home loan. At the onset Mindy Kennedy Alvarez FAILED to forward to us a fully executed retainer agreement (meaning she failed to sign her name, date it or supply us with pertanent information as we were made to) and to date we have yet to receive a copy of the retainer.

According to Mindy Kennedy Alvarez at the onset of our matter, "She has over 400 clients on retainer and she is over whelmed with a heavy case load". This must be the reason why she never returned one telephone call to us or kept us up to date with the process until after she failed to modify our loan.

We have requested a complete copy of our file in order to verify she even worked on our case after she was paid a deposit between $1000.00 and $2000.00, and to date have only received bits and pieces of it. We have only received a hand written call and fax log prepared by her office showing for example a 40 minute charge for a 5 page fax, and a 4 minute telephone call placed by us that she actually billed us 10 minutes for.

Mindy Kennedy Alvarez is withholding our file from us even though she has been dully notified that we need it in order to pursue a modification effectively on our own. To date she has failed to forward it to us, and her failure is harming any future attempts made by us in light of the evidentiary value contained in the file.

As far as we are concerned, Mindy Kennedy Alvarez is no different than the banks, mortgage company's, lenders or agents that caused the entire crash of the housing market. Except that Mindy Kennedy Alvarez prays on the destitute and takes the very last from her potential clientele. Mindy Kennedy Alvarez is a prime example of one of these scam loan modification rings we all hear about on the local news stations.

she is controlled by her husband that she works with, basically she and her husband are running a scam now she is working with Hoffs which is a short sale program, she is claiming to help all people losing there home to short sale to an investor she claims she and her husband have which is false. I have been working with them since July 2009 and still have not seen anything happen as a matter of fact I have called my lender and they still have not approved me for a short sale. as a requirement for the program I was told i had pay 2,000 to file a bankruptcy to erase all my other debt in order to qualify for there program then i had to get mortgage protection, and a living trust witch was another $1,300 and now take a bogus counseling class for another $995. at this point i am about $5,495 out of pocket and have not got any results. DO NOT fall into there scam RUN!!! if you are experiencing the same problem please report them to the district attorney and the California state bar. I can not believe they have not been shut down.
