Lightpoint Learning- watch out!

Watch out if your company brings these consultants to "improve" your organization. These guys have plenty of great ideas but are the traditional "Office Space" consulting group. If your company pays them a ton of money and they don't get results they basically point at people and recommend to fire them.

The CEO seems genuine and is a wonderful motivational speaker. It is her "henchmen" you have to be worried about. The team is intimidating and, quite frankly, lacks integrity when it comes to effective coaching and being held accountable for the results of that coaching.

If Lightpoint comes to your company I recommend doing everything they say so you can keep your job. They will teach you some new things but don't have the bandwidth to "transform" your organization as they advertise. Take away what you can but keep your mouth shut if you have different ideas. The main thing I can say is this: don't do anything outside what they outline as there is little flexibility.
