Faulty finish on Bathroom Faucet

I purchased two sets of Taymor bathroom faucets that were gold in colour. Within a couple of years the finish was completely pitted & looked awful. I also had a Moen gold finish shower in the same bathroom faucet that still looks great. I did not use any caustic cleaning products on these taps & have lived in the same house since before these taps were even manufactured so they know it was me that purchased them. I sent pictures of the taps to Taymor since they are to have a lifetime warranty & they would do nothing to remedy the situation. Pretty well ignored me. As opposed to Peerless with a kitchen faucet that I had that my husband broke & they could not have given better service. They tried to replace the part but when that didn't work they replaced the whole tap & it wasn't even their fault. I would never buy from Taymor again because they do not stand behind their products.All I did was send Peerless a picture & they gave me unbelieveable service unlike Taymor.
