Banks robbing one account to pay another

I was in dispute from an old checking account. I had closed the acct due to suspicious activity - so BB&T was on high alert - yet BB&T allowed charges to continue. They paid some and returned others charging up fees. I disputed this in a letter. Then I get a call from a family member that their account was all but wiped out and BB&T cites a policy that they had the right to take money from any account bareing my name (I was a beneficiary or secondary owner from 20 years ago that I had no knowledge of) to pay this debt - even though it was being disputed. I never signed and agreed to this. I was an account holder from a different bank that was taken over by BB&T. Basically they hijacked the money without direct permission from one account to pay the debt from another. They took my right to dispute the charges. To prove a point my family closed 7 accounts!
