extremely belligerent station attendant, 3rd Street Chevron
|
24hr gas station/convenience store 3rd Street Chevron 3817 W 3rd St Los Angeles, CA 90020 US At 330 am today, I approached the window of the station convenience store (the doors are locked at night) wishing to purchase some vitamin water and a cup of noodle soup. As I began describing to the attendant the specific vitamin water I wanted, he appeared perplexed/annoyed, so I repeated my request and tried to detail the specific flavor I wanted. The attendant then sneered and hissed at me impatiently, cutting me off muttering something to the effect of "why you asking?!" and walked off. When he returned with the bottle, I proceeded to ask for the soup, to which he became agitated and angry, asking why I didn't tell him before (when he went to get the water), and I tried to explain that he'd cut me off and walked away before I could ask for the soup, but he kept talking over me belligerently and gesturing angrily. I told him he could forget about my business, that I would go to 7 11 to make my purchase, and that I would report his unacceptable behavior to the owner. The whole time I was saying this he continued nastily warding me away ("ssst! why you talking to me" etc.) while brushing me off with waves of his hand. I requested a business card for the station, but he just shook his head and continued hissing and sneering and brushing me away. Unbelievable behavior. I've lived in the neighborhood for over 8 years and frequently buy gas and various items from the store since it is close to my residence -- but certainly never again!
