I am writing to voice my disgust and disappointment with direct tv. I ordered it during the beginning of January and scheduled an appointment on Saturday the 17th from 12-4pm. The technician showed up and was too over-weight to do the job. He was not able to get on the roof for fear of breaking it and told me that I needed to reschedule with another technician who in his words was “skinnier.” I then rescheduled for the following Saturday from 12-4pm and no one showed up despite the fact that I had received a confirmation e-mail and had confirmed via phone. I am not even a costumer yet, and have wasted two of my Saturdays waiting around, not to mention over an hour in phone calls to complain about this incompetent company. I am seriously considering going to Comcast, the competition, because so far direct tv has been one huge disappointment. My advice, go to another provider to avoid this headache
