Out-Landish Fees!!

Bank of America is charging a $6.00 fee and to be finger printed to cash a payroll check which is drawn on their bank. (you need to have direct deposit for this fee not to incur) My son had a $31.00 payroll check he wanted to cash they charged him $6.00 and finger printed him to cash it! (the check was drawn from their bank and the account could clearly be checked) Not to mention his name/address was imprinted on the check and he showed his license. The Bank claims that this is to protect their customers from fraud. I believe if they must charge a fee, to charge a percentage, not a flat fee of $6.00 for any amount of check cashed. My husband and I tried to get the money back, but we couldn't, that was their policy. The Bank should have a sign up clearly seen so customers can be made aware of this fee BEFORE they do it!! In this hard time and bad economy we don't need unnecessary fees upon us!!
