Time Warner Cable - Bad, Bad, Bad, Complaints FTC

Where to begin - It's been a year long 2nd (no paying) job with Time Warner.

First, I paid about 50/mo for services with a box. Well, the box went out a few times and I had to wait for a guy to come out several times.

Then, I lost my job. I went down to the very basic service at 12.00/mo. Trying to get that was hell in it self. They denied they had a low paying service.

Then, I had to do my own research on their site and call back to ask for basic "broadcast" service. Because I did not know the exact lingo they ran me around in circles.

Then, they had no idea what channels the broadcast stations were.

Now, I have the most basic service money can buy and can't get channels 4 & 5. They keep going out. My 900.00 beautiful flat screen will not pick up the signals.

AND, guess what! - the first part of Jan 2009 they raised basic cable service from 12.00 to 15.00/mo.

So, I pay more and the service does not exist.

TIME WARNER CANNOT EVEN PROVIDE A BASIC CABLE SERVICE TO IT'S CUSTOMERS. A SIMPLE BASIC CABLE WITHOUT A BOX. YOU'D THINK THIS WOULD BE A NO-BRAIN-R.

The CEO is a cable whore. I bet he does not even use Time Warner.

Well, AGAIN, the American Consumer is f____, treated like crap, taken advantage of, ripped off...

You name it - this company will do it to you.

I post, because it give me some little bit of power and it will be documented 'forever' along with all the other 1000's of people who experienced poor service.

Hopefully, the CEO will some day be taken down by the FTC or Gov for stealing from the American people.
