The advertised DLNA functionality in some Samsung flat panel TVs simply does not work as advertised. If you try to watch movies over your home network, you get to see about 5 minutes of content before the TV disconnects. This is a common complaint posted on the CNET Samsung forum and the AV Science forum. Samsung is unaware or unwilling to fix. They should cease advertising DLNA compatibility because it flat out doesn't work.

Yes, I got PN50C590, and I purchased samsung wireless card for it. Then I tried all the wired, wireless and Ad hoc way to play DLNA content, I tried samsung PC share management, windows media and other third part server for DLNA. I can never play movie smoothly, it shows "preparing to play" quite often, after several minutes, it shows that every 20 seconds or so. Make the feature useless.
