First, I would like to thank you for taking the time to hear my Complaint against a Florida registered company that is scamming hundreds if not millions, not to mention, falsely using unauthorized endorsements by Oprah, Dr. Oz, USA Today, ABC, CNN, Fox News and NBC.

Like millions of Americans, I have been unemployed for one year this month. I am trying to survive off $375.00 per week unemployment with two children. Being a 17 year Legal Assistant, I try to be well informed of emails I receive. I received an email for work @ home from www.googleprofithouse.com. Upon researching, I discovered that the short blurb available would benefit me greatly since it was typing transcripts. In order to learn more, one must download software for $1.99. So I did. Upon review of the download, it had nothing to do with what was stated in the original email. I called with thirty minutes and told the Rep. that I was canceling and further voiced my opinion of what they are doing to people such as myself.

Around November 11, 2009, I had utility checks bounce. On November 13, 2009, my on-line bank statement showed that XM Brands in Cancun withdrew $79.97. I immediately called and was told that there was no documentation that I canceled. I placed daily calls from November 13 - 27, finally the Rep. said he would break the rules and authorize the credit (please see confirmation below). He told me that it would process in 10 to 15 days which I told him was unacceptable since they took money from me without my permission; I further explained my situation and told him that I needed that money credited back asap. As of today, December 14th, I still do not have my money. I call every morning just to hear the same speech, yes, a speech. While on the phone you can hear the other Reps. telling others that very same thing I am being told. This is what I get "The credit was processed on 11/27 (and sometime 12/1), please keep checking with your bank. When I request to speak with their legal department and/or Corporate office, I am told that they do not accept calls.

With my research nature, the following is what I have found:

XM Brands is registered with the State of Florida (P08000090812), although the website that is charging accounts is www.acaixm.com, please note, this site never came up when researching the work at home opportunity;

I received the following email from a consumer group advising me of the following:

"you said you asked to speak to Kenneth Jacobi. That is the owners alias his real name is Issa Asad. they are located in Hollywood , Florida. he has different companies running out of his office there. He has one called Telecom World in which he sells phone cards that is a scam as well. he also has one called Odyssey Promotions which he sells scratch off lotto tickets. which ,is a scam as well. he has been scamming people for over 15 years and has made millions doing so. I hope this helps. I know this information because my girlfriend use to work there for 1 week until she realized that it was a scam and quit. As far as she was aware, no one ever received their refund."

Depending on what research site, XM Brands has many addresses listed as their Corporate office.

On www.bbb.org; Kenneth Jacobi is listed as President. He is non-existing. BBB's complaints are numerous and they have an F rating for the following reason:

We strongly question the companys reliability for reasons such as that they have failed to respond to complaints, their advertising is grossly misleading, they are not in compliance with the laws null licensing or registration requirements, their complaints contain especially serious allegations, or the companys industry is known for its fraudulent business practices.

As of today, I still do not have a refund credit and was told the same thing, it was processed.

I to, have been scambed by this company. I do not understand why Google lets this company advertise. I cancelled the contract with this company within 15 min of the original contact. The information that I gave them has been given to another company called Megellen E Commerce( which XM says is a sister company) I now have several charges by several unknown companies and have changed my debit card #, but I am still getting phone calls several times a week

The original complaint was posted by a gentleman who WAS SCAMMED BY ACAIXM/GOOGLEPROFITHOUSE... I was also scammed by ACAIXM, owned by Issa Asad. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM, and I'm dealing with getting rid of fraudulent charges by them as well. I mainly want to comment to the RETARD who said, "Why would you place an order of 21% of your income..." you, my imbecile, are a complete moron. Government Actions

As of August 13, 2010 the North Dakota Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem issued a cease and desist order against Florida based XM Brands and its principal Kenneth Jacobi for allegedly violating consumer fraud laws by offering consumers free products to test, but then enrolled customers into costly membership programs without their knowledge.

The company sells health and diet products, including those for teeth whitening, acai berry and anti-aging, but their "free trail" offers and "negative options" return can be expensive. Consumers unknowingly are enrolled by XM Brands in a membership program with automatic future shipments of products, and XM Brands charges the consumer's credit card the full price of the products each month until the consumer is eventually able to cancel the enrollment,

The state of FLorida has a lawsuit pending against them. You need to call and send them all the proof you have of them illegaly taking money from your account. Whatever money the recoup from the lawsuit will be returned to people with proof of being scammed. I sent in my bank account records, 3 different peole i spoke to's names, as well as a copy of the site and the agreement that they violated by withdrawing money during a "free trial". This has been 3 months ago and the XM people keep telling me that i will get my money as soon as their business office gets to it. Or, they just hang up on me
