Bell expressvu

I signed up for bell expressvu in sept 06 for a package that included six digital theme's and movies and a free PVR all for $78 for a two year contract.

Then the problems started, the first two months were supposed to be free but I was charged $216 for the first month. After calling several times trying to get it sorted out and speaking with everybody at a call center that I suspect was in India we partly got it sorted out. Next month same deal and I had the problem pushed up to finally billing (still in India) by december I had some luck as it was routed to canada and the fellow on the line explained it out and said to watch the bills as they would sort them selves out.

By Fev 07 it was sorted out that they still owed me $76 but wait the monthly bill had increased due to internal increases to the digital system. Back on the phone and was told to basically suck it up as bell could do what they wanted. I told them that I was going to cancel the service as I had signed the contract for $78 a month for two years. They told me to fax the contract to a number and they would check it out. So you call back to see if Bob or Jane or Sam had received the fax and get told nobody by that name works there. To cancel the contract was going to cost me over $300 so I let it go till the two years were up then cancelled it.Over the two years they increase the fees several times, once they put it up and called it a fee for a food chanel, which I never had but when you call they say they can do anything they want. But wait you still have to give 30 days after the contract finishes or they want to charge you extra, then they are supposed to send you a box to return the PVR after the end date and it shows up two days before the end date that they will charge you for non return of goods.

Long story short do no do business with this firm, they want your money and don't care about you the consumer. And never let them into you bank account for automatic payments. They take what they want went they want.
