Spa 2 Go, WENT BAD

I own a Comfort Line Spa-2-Go and have had problems with the Power Pack since the first month of use. Every day or two the pump stops working. It isn't under warranty because it stayed in the box for a year. The power pack is junk and to replace it costs $500. If it was junk in the first place why would I buy another one? Too bad because if it weren't for the really junky power pack, I'd like it. I'd even replace it but not for that price.
