My husband and I were on a flight to Tampa Florida and we arrived at our Gate in Charlotte,NC at the appropriate time to board and soon they had on their sign that they needed volunteers they were overbooked, then later announced they had mechanical problems and the flight would be delayed 2 hours but they were working on getting us a another plane. We arrived in Tampa 1 and half hours later and inconvenience us and the people we were going to visit in Tampa. This is not our first bad experience with USAir and the next flight we make will not be with them ,we will pay more and travel with another airline to assure we don't get this kind of treatment again. I think we should be refunded our full ticket price.

Really? Would you rather fly on an unsafe plane or be inconvenienced for an hour and a half? Think about it - there are many reasons that flights are late. If you don't want the possibilities of delays, drive. Oh yeah, it is way more CONVENIENT to fly. Please take some perspective from this. Safety should always be first. Additionally, flights are overbooked so you can continue to get a great cost. There are many connections that do not arrive ontime; therefore, leaving empty seats which equate to higher prices. Have patience, please. If this is the worst of your problems, you have a pretty good life.
