Complaint re: in an instant heidi klum To Others This May Concern, I'm writing to complain about Heidi Klum's "In An Instant" skin care products and program. I signed up for the discount price of $39.95 with an agreement that I could return the products within 60 days of receipt for a full refund. Should you remain the program it is expected that they will send you another shipment every 90 days for the same amount of $39.95. I didn't like the product at all and am sending them back for a refund. Within the first month though I was sent another box (which I haven't opened). This time I was charged $112.00! Shock!!! I want to return them for the full refund. But I also want to find out if this has happened to everyone who has bought the product? To me, because I purchased the product with the understanding stated above, I consider they're withdrawing from my credit card account the $112.00 theft. I don't know if that's legally viable, but if it is I'd like to do something about it. Is there anyone here who can tell me? I plan to look for an attorney online who can answer this question. I'd like to know if others, like myself who have been stolen from have grounds to sue them? Any advice is welcome. And please let me know if you have had this same problem. Box 360296 Des Moines, Iowa 50336.0296 Palm Desert, CA 92260, 50336 www.inaninstant.com I ordered both Wen and In and Instant within 2 days of each other. Wen was awful and in and Instant didn't work and made my skin break out. I knew that on both I had a 60 day guarantee. I contacted them to cancel within 30 days. I have no less than 11 phone calls into both, but Wen, generally, was easy to deal with. IAI is run like a third world company in comparison. First, they never recorded the cancellation. Following up on Wen, I called them and found this out. EVEN with proof and tracking numbers for all returned product, I can say this: Wen issues mailing labels - they don't arrive in a timely fashion, and it required 2 phone calls, but finally I got one. I sent ALL IAI product back in one box, and only found out today that they were going to AGAIN charge a monthly fee. I took my credit card off line with GR as recommended by a person there who said this was the only way to stop the charges. Finally, after many calls I have IAI returning all monies (this includes shipping and handling on second set). They are now to return ALL money within 76 hours. We shall see. Everything is a hurdle and I have been doing this since 8/18. The racket is to delay recording and keep shipping even though it is evident to me now that they have not shipped when they bill. they stretch it out so they can leverage the money longer ( or so it seems). I like her HK which is what they are counting on. In my opinion the product is not very good and one should buy Olay Definity and be done with it. Looking at the negative reviews, it seems that there are many who hate it. But, I only found your complaint about the money. You are dead on with this.If you cancelled within that 60 day period I would hold their feet to the fire and I personally know, though I haven't received it yet, that they WILL give you back the shipping and handling. In the end on both products I am out $5.02 unless IAI doesn't as promised credit monies within 76 hours. My best to you. I wrote it all down INDEPTH, sent it to them, tracked it all and kept getting angrier and angrier....and I kept calling back making them read the computer to me. What does it say? This was most enlightening. It says. "Nothing!"
