New body style Mustang scratches window tint

2006 Ford Mustang Ford Motor Company US Rolling the windows up and down on new body style Mustangs (2005 on) leaves bad scratches in window tint film. I took my Mustang to my dealer, still in warranty. The dealer acknowleged that this is a well known problem, but that Ford will not correct it. So, Ford, be assured that my next car will not be a Ford. Such myopia is obviously a huge part of the reason that American car makers are in such trouble. Sad. Dealers in this part of the country regularly tint the windows on new cars before they are even sold. To say that because this is a modification that I shouldn't expect the dealer to cover is just goofy. Cars need to be made to hold up to the norm. Ford knows this, and they are just being stubbornly stupid. Regardless, it will more than likely drive me away from Ford for my next new car purchase. Auto companies need to use reason when they design and warranty their cars. I've had six other new cars since 1999, all have had their windows tinted, and none other than this Mustang have had a problem.
