Amazon I inadvertently ordered something from Amazon and was told by Amazon to refuse the merchandise and a full refund would be given me. At the same time, I instructed my credit card to dispute the charge, expecting Amazon simply to tell the credit card to remove the charge once Amazon had received the merchandise. Amazon received the merchandise, but refused to remove the charge from my credit card unless I cancelled the dispute. I cancelled the dispute and paid Amazon in FULL for returned merchandise. I have called 4 times and have asked Amazon to give me a credit for $509.97 (the cost of the returned merchandise). Each time I call, I have to reiterate the process and each time, customer service acknowledges that I am due the $509.97 and promises to credit my account within 24 hours. I have been working with Amazon for a month and yet they have not processed my credit. Do I have any recourse, I am sure the problem is communication between customer service and accounting. I know I am speaking to someone in India at customer service. Is there anyone I can contact in their accounting Dept. that could help.
