GEICO Doesn't pay

GEICO Insurance has refused to pay fair value for my car for two years and counting. After reading my story, you can decide whether GEICO deserves your business.

My 2000 Chrylser 300M was "totalled" in my parents driveway. I had left it there, for the weekend, when a group of drunken, uninsured, unlicensed, unregistered, underage teenagers destroyed my unoccupied car right in a private driveway.

Thankfully, no one was hurt seriously, my car seemed to take the impact.

I returned to the driveway to find it had been hauled away by the police, and a waiting police report at the local police station. I then put all of these pieces together. A neighbor had filled out a police report and the police caught the kids who caused this.

Fortunately, I had purchased the extra, optional, "uninsured/underinsured motorist" coverage on my car, with coverages sufficient to cover my loss... All set right?... not-so-fast. GEICO had been here before, and I had yet to learn... GEICO Doesn't Pay!
