NEW DELHI, IN http://shopping.rediff.com/shopping/index.html HELLO REDIFF ONLINE SHOPPERS, Rediff shopping (online shopping) management are a bunch of liars, cheats, irresponsibled set of people. Let me explain in detail why this frustration and accusation towards rediff shopping. I have lived in the United States for the last 10 years and have always shopped online for most of my needs and have never had to face a situation to ever express any grievances. I requested for a purchase of an HP Officejet 5600 series all in one product which was delivered to me by rediff's so called acredited vendors "Al Systems". Unfortunately, this product was defective and the same was reported to the vendor as well as rediff shopping customer care. After a few rediff arranged to pick up this defective item for a new replacement. Do not know what transpired between the vendor and rediff. The item was re-dispatch after a constant follow-up for approx 2 weeks and to my further surprise was not only not a replacement, but the same defective piece in a totally damaged condition. The scanner was smashed and the software CD's were cracked and the item was delivered unpacked by their courier service in a totally damaged unusable condition. That's it .... Constant requests, followup's, phone calls, email communication by me to rediff customer care and the management, they ultimately decided to send the courier services for inspection and was certified to the courier service that the item was totally damaged. My email id is rayomanddesai AT hotmail.com. If requested, I will post/attach the entire communication email chain to prove this is no false story, and also photo's of the damaged product. BEWARE: If anyone, unknowingly is shopping online with rediff shopping, you have no gaurantee of your order being delivered: 1. Either on time OR 2. In good shape Rediff does not insure items in transit and if the item is defective/damaged takes no responsibility and is not obliged to replace the same. BOTTOM LINE: PLEASE DO NOT SHOP HIGH VALUE PRODUCTS FROM REDIFF SHOPPING. THEY UNDOUBTEDLY ADHERE TO LYING, CHEATING AND FRAUDULENT PRACTICES, INCLUDING THEIR THIRD PARTY VENDORS. THIS WILL BE TAKEN UP BY ME WITH THE CONSUMER RIGHTS PROTECTION COUNCIL. THIS COMPLAINT/GRIEVANCE IS ALSO POSTED ON MY BLOG ON BLERP.COM, TWITTER AND FACEBOOK. Please be advised, that you are not the only online shopping site in India, but surely the most irresponsibled managed site. This experience of mine will be published on all blog sites, facebook, twitter and all accessible sites on the internet and also reported in detail to the consumer forum of India. Also, I will report this on IBN/CNN news channel and beleive me your reputation is at serious stake not only in India but internationally.
Further, wrt this order, I do not want to communicate anymore so please arrange to pick up the item and arrange for a refund at the earliest. Consider this not a threat but take it very seriously.

I am totally frustrated with the response and service I am getting from your Customer Service Representatives @rediff shopping.
I have made at least 7 STd calls from Bangalore and communicated via e-mail to rediff enquiring about the status of my re-shipment against Order No. 5481872 which was originally shipped by Al Systems Delhi to me on the 22nd of July and subsequntly sent back to them on 23rd July via Aramex Couriers against instructions from rediff shopping for the product being defective.
Al Systems now informs me that the replacement printer against this order has been shipped to me on 27th July 2009 and I have been repeatedly requesting for the shipment Airwaybill details and I am being informed I will be given these details by rediff.
My several calls to rediff and my e-mail follow up has yeilded no satisfactory response. All I am being informed is that the product will reach me in 2-3 days.
It is a matter of shame that a reputed Organisation like yours with whom I have been frequently shopping is giving customers such indifferent, incourteous and lukewarm treatment.
Here I am leaving my work, staying a home, waiting for my shipment to arrive since I am informed it will reach me anytime of the day and today is the 2nd day there is no phone call, no response by e-mail and no Airwaybill details against which I can even follow up with the courier service.
I would like to finally request you to please treat this e-mail seriously and give me a response either in the positive or arrange for a 100% refund against this order immediately in response hereto.
