Fraud Booking by a Travel Agent || Leisure Dream Tours and Travels

A friend of mine has booked a Jet Airways ticket for me thru a Travel Agent named Leisure Dream Tours and Travels located in Kalkaji Area of New Delhi.

The ticket was booked under the name of Lalit Vashist PNR refrecne ZD8IAC (Amadeus) & OETPXJ (Jet Airways). At the time of booking I paid close to Rs. 20,000/- for the same. While make the booking it was confirmed that this is an open ticket for one year but since the return ticket had to be issued hence a date had to be entered in the system falling which the tickets could not be issued.

I travelled to Singapore on 19th April 09 thro your Jet Airways & am now in Singapore itself. I wanted to reschedule my return ticket from 8th October 09 to 25th November 09 & for same I contacted the Travel Agent 3/4 weeks back. The travel Agent agreed & asked for 2 days time saying that they would need to check the availability of the seats. After 3 days the travel Agent called back my friend saying that seats are available for 25th November 09 but there is a charge of Rs. 2500/- which needs to be paid.

Since one of my friend had contacted the Travel Agent on my behalf he contacted me before giving any go ahead to the travel agent. It took him 2 days time to contact me & return back to the travel agent for proceeding with the rescheduling with a charge of Rs. 2500/-, but the Travel Agent did not respond to his calls or messages.

After 1 weeks time when there was no response from the travel agent I called up Customer Care team of Jet Airways & gave all the PNR & other details but was shocked to hear that this Ticket is neither changeable nor refundable. However the customer care agreed that there is a mention of 25th November flight in the PNR.

I did not believe Jet Airways giving their franchise to a fraud company like Leisure Dream Tours and Travels.

My friend has personally visited their office at D16 UGF Kalka Ji Delhi & the found the same locked, when inquired about them from neighbors they informed that the office has not opened for the past 20-25 days time. My friend also visited the parental house of Ms. Sonika Sharma at c88 Kalka Ji Delhi & came to know that Sonikaâ??s mother lives there & she even does not have any information about her daughter.

Have tried contacting the Travel agent by all possible means including emails, & Calls on landlines & mobiles but have not received any response from them. The landlines & mobile numbers have been disconnected by the service providers due to no payment made.
