Buyinamerica.com did not honor promised return

Buy In America 305 E. 9th Street Suite 212 Los Angeles, CA 90015 US buyinamerica.com On July 9th, I ordered 6 dresses from Buy in America. Before I placed the order, I called the company (see google search below where customer "service" phone number was found, even though the company apparently avoids giving it to the public). I explained that at the time I was living overseas, in the middle of moving back to the US and going on a transatlantic cruise, for which I needed the dresses. I told them that there was no way I would be able to return any duplicate dresses within the 30 days. I was told that in light of our circumstances, Buyinamerica would extend the return deadline, but to get them in as quickly as possible, which I did with three dresses.
Today, during a phone call, the people at Buyinamerica.com told me that they intention of honoring my return because I had missed the 30 day deadline (by 7 days), in violation of what I was told by the company. I would strongly caution other customers from doing business with this company as I have found they do not honor their word. As mentioned before, we will make an exception to refund 1 dress and 4 shawls for you for the total of $107.95 and have you exchange your 2 other dresses for a total of $159.90 Unfortunately, the fact that you were on a cruise is not a reason that we can change our return policy of 30 days and an extra 10 days for transit. Your dresses were purchase on 7/9/09 and today is 8/21/09 and we still don't have anything returned to us. If this offer does not satisfy you, your package will be refused once it arrives here. Please let us know if we can prepare your replacement dresses prior to your package arriving. As we stated before, our goal is to make the best product at best prices and do not intend to deceive intentionally or unintentionally. That is why, our return policy along with our phone number is posted clearly on our site. We will not post one thing and tell you another on the phone. We are happy that you liked your other dresses and still are doing our best to resolve your issue as best as possible.
