HILARY'S BLINDS UK HILARY'S BLINDS GB HILARYSBLINDS i bought 3 roman blinds from Hilarys blinds 10 months ago. The type of blind I bought had the added advantage of being easily taken down for cleaning etc. I took the blinds down to paint the living room only to discover that all the brackets holding up the blinds are all loose and hanging off the wall. There are all different shaped size screws on each bracket. When I tried to refit one of the blinds it fell down and broke. I contacted Hilarys in the UK. I had to ring 4 times and spoke to 4 different customer service reps who all promised me they would call me back which they didnt I eventually got speaking to the most ignorant manager who told me it was my fault because i took the blinds down in the first place. I informed him the reason I bought that particular type of blind was so I COULD TAKE THEM DOWN!!! I told him that the blinds were covered under guarantee of 12 months under defective workmanship. He told me there was nothing wrong with the workmanship because they didnt fall down before I took them down. I told him they would eventually fall down and had I known the workman did such a bad job I would have ensured he did a proper job. It was a disgrace. This so called manager then told me he would not "escalate the problem further as it was my fault" I asked to speak to another supervisor and he told me I couldnt. I then asked for the complaints department and he told me there wasnt one!! I asked him what Hilarys complaints policy was and he told me they didnt have one!! As I am living in Ireland and they are a UK company I think he just didnt care. I am endeavouring to take this further. And a stern word of advice DO NOT BUY HILARYS BLINDS DO NOT EVEN LET THEIR AGENTS IN YOUR HOUSE BECAUSE THEY ARE THE MOST WORHTLESS AND USELESS COMPANY I HAVER EVER HAD THE DISPLEASURE OF DOING BUSINESS WITH.
