The Bissell Quick Steamers upright rug and hard floor cleaners DO NOT STEAM! I contacted the company and they told me that I had to put hot water in the tank. The units DO NOT have a steam producer in the actual unit. Also they said that the name "Quick Steamer" is an industry name they use for those particular models. So if you are looking for a steamer unit, don't buy one of these! The name is misleading at best.
