Airtel - Worst customer service and even worse network

Airtel Postpaid connection IN www.airtel.in Hi All, I been an Airtel customer for more than a year now, having their postpaid connection and broadband at home. I am a corporate customer by the way. Recently we moved from Velachery, Chennai to Medavakkam, Chennai. Reaching there, to our dismay we found the signal strength to be pathetic. Lodged a complaint on Jul 6th. Response was someone would come and check it and update me. After 10 calls and 5 emails to them, even till date, nothing has been done. I call customer care, they give me a default message that status still in awaiting feedback and in 48 hours someone would contact me. I dont think they know how long is 48 hours. On top of that, they have the guts to charge me the full rent for both these months even though there is absolutely NIL connection at home, making it at least 12 hours a day with a dead mobile. May be it is a one off scenario but when they are pushed to a corner, Airtel does absolutely nothing to resolve anything and they are just hoping people would just let it go. I guess they would not even care if I leave for another service provider. What they dont understand is that if this bad service makes all their customers leave, they would be left with nothing to do. Dont think I can wait any longer. Time to look for a good alternative plan soon.
