My name is Verna Howard,


I had lay away an sofa/love seat set on June 6, of this year. I moved to a new place and me and my god sister came into the store on Aug 24, 2009


and she paid my lay way out. the amount all together was $707.01, Invoice No. 38-0661858. My sofa set was delivered on July 31, of this year to my new address, I moved into my new address on Aug 1, of this year.


On Aug 4, I called the saginaw store mamager to let them know that my furniture had nails sticking under the attached pillows,foam in the pillows that i sat on had flatten, back pillows that are attached, to the sofa set had flatten out, thin custion all around of the sofa set, one of the legs on the sofa sticks out more then the other legs,when I sit down on the set I feel wood under my legs and when I sit back I fill wood on my back.


There is big holes in between the arm and attached pillows,the wood frame is cutting into my body, which is very unconterible to sit. I had knee replacement and under my legs when I sit hurts. also the sofa sets were stabled together.


A service person by the name of Randy came to my home from Warren MI on Aug 7, 2009. he did not even examine my sofa set. I was told by him that all of the furniture was made up poorly and I will be getting another set just like the first set I have.


I told Randy that I want better furniture just like the furniture I sat on at the saginaw store, becausse the furniture I sat on was very firm and wery well put together. Randy tlod me that the store furniture was bulid better on the show case floor.


He was very rude and stared walking out of my home while I was talking to him. I ask him how would he like sitting on wood and his reply was everbody sits on differnt comfort.


Randy told me if I did not like the second set unpond arrival at my home I can get a refund back from the store. The second set arrived on Aug 14, 2009 and by the way I did call Randy boss in Warren, MI and I give a verable complaint to his boss (Al) and Keysha called me before I spoke to Al.


The second set never made it into my home. two of the deliverly person from Saginaw let me examine the sofa set by the truck and the second set was also damaged just like the first set I had in my home.


I told the delivery guys that I did'not want any of the sets and they could take it back to the store. they had to get premission from there boss at the saginaw store, so I call the store and mamger, named Scott.


I told him what was wrong with the second set and that I did not want either set. Scott told me that he was not going to allow the delivery drivers to return any of the sets. I told Scott that I was not going to keep damage furniture. I toild him that I want my money back and he said that I had to get a instore creidit.\


I told Scott that He cannot make me buy anything in his store and I want my money back. He asked me to put the delivery man on the phone and the delivery man told Scott that I kept the furniture in good condition and both sets were damaged.


I was on the other phone all that time and I heard Scott tell the delivery mens to take both sets back to the store and I got back on the phone to speak to scott.


Scott told me that he was going to charge me for restock and only give me $534.00. My godsister also paid for delevery. I told him that this not right because I only had achance to sit on the sofa set only twice. I had to unpack all of my things before I could sit down.


Scott told me since my godsister wrote out the check he should not be talking to me only to Rosie. I told him that both of our name is on the envoice.


Scott told me that he did not have to oder anything or refund my money back and he was going to write my godsister acheck and not give both of us any money.


Scott stared to laugh over the phone in my face. I told him that he was so rude and I also spoke to another manager at the store and his name is, Tim and he was just as rude as Scott.


I feel that I should get back all of my money. I will never shop at this store again. I told both of the managers that I will bringing my godsister back to the store on monday to get my refund . Also the delivery driver wrote on my receipt that I was coming in to the store for my refund. both mamgers told me that the other furniture on the other floor was made up better then the one they sold to me. I asked both of them how coild my furniture cold be used when it was brain new?


I have no furniture to sit on. Please respond back to me son as possible. by e-mail and mail.
