Fraudulent Timeshare Rental Service
|
TWA Resale 130 East Evergreen Suite 100 Longwood, FL 32750 US www.twaresale.com TWA Resale contacted me on Jan 30 soliciting business to help rent out my timeshare weeks. Chris Jackson, the agent who called me, assured me that within 90-120 days, he guaranteed that my timeshare weeks will be rented out. In return for that, he charged me a fee for $699. To date, nothing has happened. Repeated calls during the 6 months have been either unanswered or the agent who answers keeps making assurances that I should be patient and the property will rent out. Chris Jackson evidently repeatedly lied to me and another agent, Victor Navarro, who answered one of my calls in June, has also repeatedly lied to me since then. Chris Jackson has been ignoring my calls since May. I feel the business is engaging in fraudulent telemarketing, extracting sizable up-front fees for services they have no intention of (or no ability to)render. On 10/15 I was told to call back on Nov 12th and now the phone number 866-356-2714 and 866-356-2715 are no longer in service! We have been ripped off and should get together and try and get our money back! They have been selling my timeshare since Sept. 2008. I keep hearing the same thing. Someone is coming in to put a contract on it. Victor will call me in two weeks. It's always 2 weeks. This has been going on for over a year. Now the phone is always busy. I have been calling for a week, emailing threats of calling BBB. Still no contact. I paid 900.00 for lies. We have talked with either Brian Armstrong in customer service or/and have been thru numerous agents - Victor Navarro, Jocelyn, Francisco, and Victor Cardose - with supposedly sales on the properites being worked on - i.e. qualifying, financing, and dates set for return appointments to make offers -with atleast one to have been supposedly done by the 26th of this month (October), yet when I tried to reach them today, the phone numbers I called before all ring busy and when I tried the number saved in my cell phone, the message said it was no longer a working number. We paid good money for them to list and sell our timeshares and now wonder if the owners have ever done anything that we have been told was done. That was money we could use now and also wasted time with no timeshares sold as of this date. This does seem like fraud to us also, though we hope that they will do exactly what they promised and sell our timeshares and get our money to us quickly. however, if this is faud, we hope there will be help for all of us to recover our money back if this company does not do what they say and sell our timeshares - or rent yours if that is what you have them doing for you.
