Red is not Red

I ordered their low back chair for a client. The website says it comes in red and there is a swatch. I know what you see on your computer can be different than when you get it in hand, but the red on the computer was RED. The side of the box says RED, the PO says RED. When I opened one of the boxes the chair was BURGUNDY/PURPLE.

I called customer service and she said "that's our red". She didn't offer any excuses or a remedy to the situation, she simply stated that the color I received is the color they choose to call red.

What they represented online and in print on all of their documents and packaging is not what I ordered. They have completely misrepresented themselves and then have a policy that if the box is opened they don't take it back. Sound like a money making proposition to me. From now on I'm going to offer lemonade on the corner and once I have the customers' money I'll give them cola. I'll just tell them it's what I call lemonade...and no refunds.
