Vacation Package Back to the Caribbean 7120 W McNab Rd Tamarac, Fl 33321 US www.backtofun.com This is in reference to my Vacation Offer Package. One of the critical questions prior to purchasing this package was in reference to actual attendance of a 90 minute tour at the Puerto Rico resort. We were specifically told on speaker phone, that we did not have to attend this tour. In addition, your salesman was told we were interested only in Puerto Rico for our first vacation. When we submitted our Vacation Request Form, we were told that Puerto Rico was not available at that time. The availability of Puerto Rico as one of our choices was the primary reason this Vacation Package was purchased. When contacting a company representative inquiring to the expiration date of our first vacation, we were given a date that equaled eighteen (18) months, yet our cover letter issued to us states, "You will have 24 months to use your first week." During a re-submittal of our Vacation Request Form, we are now told that you cannot honor seven (7) days and six (6) nights at the Puerto Rico Resort as specified in our Vacation Package. In addition, we have to agree in writing, to the terms and conditions of the Resort which specifically states, "Participants must attend a courteous 90 minute VIP resort vacation club sales presentation." We consider this as a "bait and switch" tactic and we do not appreciate all of the changes that are being made to our original agreement at the time of our purchase. Please consider this as an official complaint and additional filings are to be made. This has happened 3 times in 8 years(1 was due to Hurricane Ivan)and we try to offer alternate destinations and give you extras to make up for it. If this complaint has still not been resolved, please email me at ross AT backtofun.com While we still no longer have Puerto Rico due to circumstances beyond our control, we have several new destinations we did not have when you purchased and we will be happy to let you use these at no charge. If you have been able to travel, please update your complaint. I would need your name and zipcode to see when you purchased your package to see if you had 18 mths or 24 mths. We have many different promotional packages that sometimes our representatives get them mixed up.
