Sears Shell Game

Sears has recently attempted to switch their customers from a Sears credit card to a Mastercard. Be aware that you have to specifically contact Sears and cancel the Mastercard and start a new Sears account. Your old Sears account was cancelled when the Mastercard was issued. Not certain, but I think your credit rating will be negatively impacted because of Sears cancelling your account.
