Laptop is a big headache

I recieved my laptop for my birthday last november. I've had nothing but problems with it since. Half the time it won't talk to my hp photosmart printer. Now for the 3rd time, it has lost the mouse driver(also hp). I'm having a devil of time uploading the mouse disk to the computer. It's already had to reformed once since november because it locked up on me. It doesn't come with a comprehensive owners' manual. Talking to someone online is difficult because the accent is too thick to understand what the rep is saying. Never will I buy another hp product.
