DiscountBookSale is fraud and Cheaters

I ordered 4 books for $33.98. I got invoice of $33.98. But when I saw my cfredit card, I was charged for charged $33.97 and $19.95 (which I never authorized). I called them, but no help and they never returned me that money.DiscountBookSale.com is a SCAM. The customer care lady at Discount Books Sale was also rude. DO NOT buy anything from any of these so called businesses.

I just got off the phone with their customer support, after finding out I've been "memeberized". I wouldn't have known for months, had I not gone in there looking for an invoice for my book.

The customer support guy was courteous. He cancelled the membership without too much selling and also refunded my $19.xx, but I had to ask for it. He says it will take 1-2 business cycles to show up. I'm not waiting for that. I'll put a stop on that charge, on my credit card.

Another thing I should do, is to go and delete that credit card from their website.

I to was charged 12.95 for the last 8 mos.! I never gave permission to be billed! I never received a single book!This web site should read [screw the public.com1] I'm parallized and finally got reply to cancel my supposed membership.Please don't let them do the same to anyone else. Dennis T.

I agree with this recommendation. We were charged 19.95 per month for FOUR months before I noticed what was going on. My husband ordered a cookbook and wound up with a "membership" for something (don't know what) & they were billing us 19.95 a month. After my call they agreed to refund 3 months payment which is the most she was allowed to give! These people are tricking customers with "small print" type of scam. Don't do business with them!

I'm still trying to sort out my credit card statement. DBS has charged me 2 mo. membership in Best Brands which I did not sign up for (nor did i sign up for discountbooksale membership). They are really a scam.
