complaint about Vonage

complaint about Vonage I had Vonaqe telephone service in 2007.My service went out and I called 1-800-425-8023 for 1 week, speaking daily to many different teck people at Vonage to restore my service. Every person I talked to told me something different to do. I purchase 2 different routers on their advice. Nothing worked. At the end of the week I contacted a supervisior who assured me he would call me the next day with the solution to my problem. No call from him so in frustration I got Comcast service and notified Vonage that I was cancelling their service because they couldn't fix my service. I gave details of what I tried, who I spoke to each day. I requested a refund of the unused portion of my prepaid year. I had paid by credit card so I had my credit card company contest the charge. They were told no refund. Last week I received a letter from Penn Credit Corporation saying I owed Vonage $299.97 I never received a statement from Vonage concerning this charge. I called Vonage and a customer service rep agreed that I had cancelled service 7/07. He told me the charge was made in 2/08, for 2008 service which I didn't have. He said a supervisior would get back to me. The supervisior contacted me and said I still owed because my account was still active. I reminded her that the service rep had evidence that I cancelled service 7/07. I remember receiving an email from Vonage confirming my cancellation. Please help me with this issue. I have sent an explanation to Penn Credit Corp.
